Resource Recommendations for Backend Developers and My Goals

As a backend developer, I’ve set myself some short-term goals to improve my skills:

First and foremost, I want to complete the renowned CS50 computer science course by David Malan, a respected faculty member at Harvard University. David Malan’s teaching style has been highly praised, and I’m eager to immerse myself in this 24-hour course, which is available on the Freecodecamp YouTube channel.

Next, I plan to complete Dr. Angela Yu’s “The Complete 2024 Web Development Bootcamp” course on Udemy, with a specific focus on web development. Dr. Yu’s expertise in this area promises to provide me with valuable knowledge and skills.

I also plan to regularly check the Freecodecamp YouTube channel for relevant content to supplement my learning. With new material uploaded daily, I have access to a wealth of resources, such as the latest 10-hour TypeScript course, which was released just four days ago.

Once I feel confident enough in my skills, I’ll move quickly into project work. Rather than getting bogged down in excessive course content, I believe that hands-on projects will provide invaluable practical experience.

Finally, I’m looking forward to using the Language Reactor Chrome extension to improve my English. This tool provides dual subtitles for English YouTube content and offers customized exercises on the Language Reactor website to improve vocabulary.

I hope you find these insights useful. Until we connect again, take care.
